One for the gossipers
|
by MEL-.
Who cares, what they say
It doesn't really matter anyway
Say what they like
It's all they can say about me
How can an outsider understand
The feelings experienced by an insider?
Every day is a brand new day
And we won't be affected by what they say
A million thoughts racing through my mind
They want to bring me down, down, down
But I am me and no syllable can change me
I turn my back, and they spread the dirt
Everything seems to be spinning
Revolving around my head
Their smirks are nothing but revolting
Their piercing eyes seem to cut me through
But they can't.
They're so insecure
Trying to make themselves seem superior
They don't know how stupid they look to me
I don't mean to insult them
But they just don't get it
Don't expect me to cry
You feign innocence when you speak to me
But I know just what you say
When I'm not around
Hypocrites in cahoots
I will not be like those who break down
For I have better things to do
It's only a matter of time
Before you realise
It's over for you.
